Education: UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Computers, Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, Mechanical ,PG - M.Sc - Computers, MCA - Computers

Job Description:
The job responsibility mainly involves:
- Understand requirement specification & functional specifications
- Develop functional tests and test scenarios for new feature/enhancements
- Participate in test automation using frameworks
- Execute tests and report results
- Possess knowledge of defect tracking and management tools
- Work closely with development, documentation & other QA teams
- Complete ownership of test projects; includes insuring quality completion of multiple tasks within a rapidly changing environment
- Carryout performance testing, code coverage, stress testing etc
- Provide feedbacks and suggestions to improve test strategies, test coverage
- Performs all tasks with a minimal amount of supervision

Desired Candidate Profile:
-Good experience in testing of web-applications, mobile applications and device testing, protocol testing and backend testing
-Strong experience in Design and implement Test scripts, Test cases & Test data
-Depth knowledge on Software development lifecycle, testing lifecycle and test processes
-Experience in using profiling/code coverage tools
-Excellent Knowledge and Hands on experience: Functional, Integration / System Testing, Failover Testing,
-Good at test automation / design & implement the framework
-Good knowledge on tools like SILK Test, QTP, Win Runner, Selenium
-Good exposure towards usage of defect tracking tools BugZilla, ClearQuest, Jira etc..
-Good track record in testing products under Windows / Unix / Linux environment
-Experiences testing Mobile applications /technologies – handset, SMS, MMS, mobile contents
-Must have strong troubleshooting skills in identifying & isolating the problems
-Good exposure towards API testing
