Job Description:
Role:
Analyzing the business requirements and preparing the technical design
Carry out and review important technical documents, designs, codes, Test Plan etc.
Assisting PM / TL with technical details / decisions.
Mentoring team members in technical areas/decisions and help them in designing complex queries and reports.
Creating Low level designs and assisting designer in Application design
Coordination with UK counterparts on gap analysis, communication, planning and issues.
Carry out Coding and Unit testing independently
Bug fixing in existing applications
Supporting System test, UAT and implementation

Desired Candidate Profile:
Desired Profile
Strong working experience of 3+ years in Mainframe Technologies.
Consistently Good academic record - BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech/MCA.
Excellent Academic background
Experience in CICS and DB2 is Must.
Good Programming skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, Easytrieve, REXX
Knowledge of MQ series, File-Aid, Endevor, Expeditor tools, Connect Direct and any Batch Scheduler is desirable
Component level design experience.
Prior experience in Unit Testing and CIT
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Good Problem solving & Analytical skills.
Good team player willing to learn and share
Domain knowledge in corporate banking and/or wealth management will be desirable. Knowledge of corporate lending domain will be an added advantage.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to operate efficiently in a fast paced, multitasking environment.

Nice to Have
Leading/Managing Mainframes projects from concept through the entire project lifecycle.
Leading/Managing technical teams/developers in the design and deployment of Mainframes solutions to business/project requirements.
Ensuring Group Technology processes are followed during the project lifecycle.
Building strong partnerships with all the project stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.

Experience: 3+ yrs
Minimum Academics: BE / M Tech / MCA from renowned institutes or Universities.
