Job Description:
•Understanding the business requirements and designing a solution that will meet the business needs and the non functional requirement.
•Understand company’s goal on range of products. Communicate clearly & concisely both verbally & in writing. Establish working relationship with programmer, tester & manager
•Explore & select new technology / tools & introduce innovations relevant to our line of business.
•Responsible for preparation of product specification
•Responsible for preparation of product architecture
•To arrange review of technical writings, design, code, verification & validation plan & release engineering functions
•Responsible Release engineering
•Coordinate with other functional teams during the life cycle of the project and be responsible for the required design modifications
•Understand how technology can be used to create an optimum solution for the client.
•Learn & use software estimating and planning techniques
•Give project status to the Project Manager / Sr. management, assist project manager in risk management
•Spend time in imparting class room training.

Desired Profile:
•Knowledge of Microprocessor / micro-controller assembly languages, one high level language preferably C.
•Should be familiar with interfacing microprocessors / micro-controllers to the external world.
•Knowledge of RT operating system principles & basic hardware knowledge. Should be familiar with communication via RS232, RS 485 & other means of networking electronic devices.
•Should feel very comfortable in solving real time design problems using Digital storage oscilloscope, Logic analyzer, hardware emulators & software emulators.
•Knowledge of current trend in embedded software development industry such as
•Programming related -- modular programming, power fail safety, fault tolerant software, code optimization


•Protocol related - different communication protocols such as MOD bus, TCP / IP, ANSI, DLMS, Mesh protocol, Zigbee etc
•Communication bus related -- industry standard bus such as Profi bus, CAN bus, 485, RF communication, GSM, GPRS, CDMA, power line communication
•Controller – ARMS, DSP
