Required BIW Functional Analyst for Vishay Components India Pvt Ltd (Vishay - manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive components), Magarpatta city, Pune

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or information systems or equivalent.
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in development of data warehouse applications using SAP BW while working with a team and supporting users in a global environment.

Responsibilies:
1. Development of new data warehouse applications using SAP BW across several modules
2. Supporting existing BW applications and global users
3. Liaison with team members across the globe
4. Participate in performance tuning of BW applications
5. Coordination with security team, R/3 team, basis team and users
6. Upgrade to new BI releases

Requirements:
1. At least 3+ years of SAP BW experience, Minimum total SAP experience: 5+ years
2. Extensive experience with all aspects of data warehouse workbench(backend) and both RRMX and web reporting(front end).
3. Proven competency with ETL for both R/3 and non-R/3 sources
4. Must have worked on at least one full project life cycle, including production support
5. Familiarity with modeling methodologies
6. Familiarity with BW content
7. Significant prior R/3 experience with ABAP and SAP FI module.
8. Experience with other SAP modules a bonus.
9. Thorough understanding of R/3 and BW user exits
10. Be able to present creative solutions and take the initiative to resolve challenging situations
11. Proven ability to work in a team environment and on an independent basis
12. Excellent analytical and organizational skills - be able to translate user requirements into technical requirements. Good written and oral communication skills
13. BI7 knowledge and experience preferred, but not required.
