Job Description: Technical Support Analyst logs, analyzes and drives the resolution of Technical issues for Freeborders PLM software that is used by apparel manufacturers and retailers.

He/she is a skilled communicator and excellent listener, understands quickly, documents his/her work well and is able to effectively explore and present solutions to complex problems with minimal supervision. http://www.sureshkumar.net

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working within the Professional Services and Support team :
- In a L2, L3 capacity, log, analyze, escalate and drive the closure of client and internal IT problem reports for .NET , JAVA and legacy client server applications.
- Perform interactive remote access sessions with customers to resolve technical issues.
- Perform professional technical services at client sites including software installations, system upgrades, and various other billable services as required. http://www.sureshkumar.net
- Prepare and maintain weekly client status, summary and utilization reports
- Document, manage, maintain Ptex IT infrastructure as part of a team.
- Lead the administration of Freeborders hosted solutions. (AIX, Linux, Websphere) with the aid of outsourced services.
- Communicate complex problems effectively in writing and verbally.
- Promote and maintain customer loyalty and total satisfaction.
- Moderate travel required periodically with short notice.

Desired Profile: Required technical skills:

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating and database systems, including Windows NT, 2000, Server 2003, SQL2000 http://www.sureshkumar.net
- Field experience with pervasive network protocols, RDBMS MS SQL, Oracle, WebSphere, IIS, .NET
- Strong, demonstrable experience with data migration, systems integration projects.
- Reporting tools Crystal Reports / Cognos etc

Qualifications:
B.S. Engineering. MIS, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience or certification

2+ years in a software application support systems administration environment.

Significant Assets:
