Our client is a sister-concern of a US-based IT Company, operating
in the Embedded space.

Position: Project Manager

Job Description:
The Project Manager will work with the Application Engineering Group
and is required to communicate with customers, obtain issues that
need to be attended to by the group, from them, prioritize the
issues to be attended to, track their progress and keep all
concerned informed through project status reports. The Project
Manager will also be responsible for tasking and training the
Coordinators and Engineers and where required facilitating
accountability. They will also log the issues / queries from the
customers (IT companies), track these requirements and forward the
responses from the Application Engineering Group / development teams
to the customers. The work timings will be Indian work timings. The
Project Manager will be interacting with highly skilled tech
engineers on both sides on high end embedded systems and should not
to be confused with a BPO type operations / floor manager role. The
Project Manager will also be expected to:-
(a) Participate and contribute to process evolution.
(b) Contribute to HR functions like hiring and performance appraisal.
(c) Coordinate the sharing of resources.
(d) Write product technical literature, documentation, marketing
collateral and maintain logs.
(e) Team coordination and project monitoring.
(f) Scrutiny of products prior to client delivery.

Education: MTech / BTech / BE / MCA ONLY

Skill-set:
Mandatory
- Experience/ exposure to embedded software industry, including
Board Support Packages (BSP), Device Drivers, etc; application
protocol, high performance Network stack namely SSH, SSL, IPSec,
MSTP, RSTP, STP, NetStack, NAT, FireFly, Class Based Queues and
others catering to various RTOS
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Good computer and networking basics.
- Good organization skills (follow up, tracking) and attention to
detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and etiquette.
- Responsible, sincere and confident outlook with ability to handle
tech clients.

Desirable Skills:
- Potential to grow into Program Managers.
- Prior experience of interaction with American tech clients.
- Candidate with knowledge of embedded networking products.
