Job Description:

Responsibilities will be primary test engineer for SNMP and Extreme
Network management products. Candidate will work closely with the
development team to create and execute software test plans, analyze
results and track problems. Will be expected to reproduce problems,
analyze the problems and evaluate possible solutions and workarounds.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Communications / Electrical Engineering
• Excellent analytical, communications (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills.

Experience Required:

Candidate should have minimum 3 yrs of experience with the following skills

• Experience with SNMP, NMS Concepts
• Should have tested NMS & any other networking applications.
• Should have written test cases, test plans etc.
• Should have used /written simulation scripts, using scripting language like TCL/TK, PERL etc.
• Experience configuring LAN routers/switches and particularly management of those products is desirable.
• Must be a self-motivated team player that enjoys testing and can work in a multi-tasking environment.
• Experience testing Java applications on Windows and Unix platforms is a plus.
