Reporting Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for guys who has experience on Cognos ReportStudio and Framework manager

* Review, evaluate and drive the clarification of business requirements documents to ensure a clear
and accurate statement regarding process and system requirements.
* Evaluate Business Requirements Documents and convert them to appropriate Technical Design Documents including coding standards, recommended architectures, test case, data definitions, etc.
* Develop, test, support and enhance modules within a Informatica and Cognos implementation. Have demonstrated experience with at least Framework Manager and ReportNet
* Understand and execute appropriate diligence, testing, review and communications related to all support and development activities.
* Be task driven, and able to operate in a blended development and support operating model.
* Recognize the characteristics of business-impacting system events and escalate appropriately.
* Provide innovative, workable solutions to a wide range of technical and customer problems.
* Develop and present reports, briefings, and materials in support of project activities.
* Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art technology relative to application domain; understand evolution and enhancement opportunities to maximize the value of the core system

Requirements

Solid work experience on Cognos & Informatica technologies * Cognos ReportNet Advanced 1.1 MR1 or 2 * Powerplay Transformer 7.x * Cognos Framework Manager 1.1 MR1 or 2 Understanding of Oracle Applications 11.5.4+ schema or Siebel 7.5 schema is highly preferable Ability to architect STAR SCHEMA and SNOW FLAKE SCHEMA Solutions with Slowly Changing Dimensions
