A client of Cking consultancy services is looking for

Oracle Applications Techno-functional Resource

Oracle Experience: 5 years (recent)
Project Location: Chennai


Profile: Oracle Application Technical Analyst

Soft Skills :

* Ability to logically investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions and ultimately solve issues.

* Knowledge of the needs, challenges and opportunities for manufacturers of high-tech equipment and services.

* Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

* Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions.


* Skill in examining and re-engineering operations, systems, processes and functions to address specific issues or challenges raised by functional areas.



Hard Skills :

* Review, evaluate and drive the clarification of business requirements documents to ensure a clear and accurate statement regarding process and system requirements.

* Evaluate Business Requirements Documents and convert them to appropriate Technical Design
Documents including coding standards, recommended architectures, test case, data definitions, etc.

* Develop, test, support and enhance modules within an Oracle 11i implementation. Have demonstrated experience with at least two major functional tracks within the Oracle system.
* Understand and execute appropriate diligence, testing, review and communications related
to all support and development activities.

* Be task driven, and able to operate in a blended development and support operating
model.

* Recognize the characteristics of business-impacting system events and escalated appropriately.
* Provide innovative, workable solutions to a wide range of technical and customer problems.
* Develop and present reports, briefings, and materials in support of project activities.
* Maintain knowledge of state-of-the-art technology relative to application domain; understand evolution and enhancement opportunities to maximize the value of the core system.


Key Skills :

* Detailed and solid knowledge of at least two core Oracle 11i modules

* Requirements -to- Technical design experience


* Development and coding in Oracle environment


* Experience in structured and controlled development environment



Experience / Education :

* Masters/Bachelors degree with 3 to 5 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

* A minimum of 3 years detailed development experience with at least two core modules within an Oracle 11i production environment.

* Additional experience with other enterprise applications (Siebel, WebMethods, Cognos) would be a significant advantage.
