Responsibilities and Details :
Description
In this position, you will be responsible to deploy, train, improve, and put into use services and products for the worldwide LAN environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of service deployment and support for the LAN environment within Network and Telecom Services. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Responsible for project and/or program management of specific technical deployment to worldwide sites
- Working with engineers, site support, and front-line personnel to ensure LAN service requirements and needs are being delivered
- Working with sites and support personnel to ensure correct training, documentation, and support process are in place and being followed
- Supporting the LAN projects as a primary contact for management and second level escalations
- Responsible to provide remote LAN support for wired and wireless LAN at remote sites spread across the globe, support for network security services and implementation of projects for remote sites

Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Technology with an aptitude for Network Technology and inclination to work in the operations area. Additional qualifications include:
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Team player with strong communications skills, self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently
- Proven interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, conflict management and resolution skills, and project management skills
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI layers, Wireless LAN technologies (802.11a/b/g), fault-tolerant network technologies (Spanning Tree, HSRP*, and others), and SNMP would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Router and/or Switch configuration and trouble shooting, and other types of LAN devices would be an added advantage
