Job Description</span></address>

· Writing user manuals and online help for application software developed in various platforms</span></address>

<address>

Reviewing and editing business proposals, consultancy reports, software
life-cycle documentation, technical papers and allied technical
documents</span></address>

· Developing website material</span></address>

<address>
· Formulating and implementing documentation standards, guidelines and processes</span></address>

<address>
· Designing and conducting training in technical communication for IT professionals</span></address>

<address>
· Taking up R&amp;D work related to technical communication</span></address>

<address>
</span></address>

<address>
Basic Requirements:</span></address>

<address>
· Excellent command over English, and editorial acumen including understanding of structure and tone</span></address>

<address>
· Ability to quickly grasp technical information</span></address>

<address>
· Ability to understand software applications in various domains</span></address>

<address>
· Effectiveness in working with IT professionals in a fast-paced project environment</span></address>

<address>
· Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite of documentation software</span></address>

<address>
· Preparedness to take up long-term assignments/transfers anywhere in India or abroad at short notice</span></address>

Experience
in technical writing/editing and in the use of software tools for
online help, web design and graphics, will be a distinct advantage.</span></address>
