(i) Candidates studying in the final year/semester, of Technical Degree examination (BE/B.Tech) can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing to Recruiting Directorate (Women Entry), East Block-III, RK. Puram, New Delhi-110066 by 16 Feb 2007 positively. (A certificate from the Principal/head of the institution must be attached with application form stating that the final results will be declared before the aforementioned date.) Candidates studying in the final year/semester must note that acceptability or otherwise of applicant depends on submitting certificate from the principal. in case they fail to submit the proof of having passed the said degree latest by 16 Feb 2007 candidature will be cancelled notwithstanding performance in SSB.

Conditions of eligibility:-
Nationality : A candidate must either (I) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Nepal, or (iii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iv) Tibetan origin but of Indian domicile, whose parents entered India as refugees prior to 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently setting in India, (v) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawai, Zaire and Ethopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Physical Standards :
Height & Weight : The minimum acceptable height and weight for a women candidate is 152 cm and 42 Kgs respectively.
Visual Standards : The minimum acceptable Visual acuity are : Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/18. Myopia of not more than minus 5.5 including astogination. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence of having undergone Radial Karatotomy to improve the visual acuity, will be permanently rejected. Also candidates who have undergone Lasik Surgery for correction of refractive error are NOT acceptable.

How to Apply :-
a)Apply on YELLOW colour paper as per the format given in the advertisement.

b) The envelope containing application should be superscribed in RED Ink the following details:

'WSES' (O) Course Ser No.30 Entry/Qualification Code.

Failure to mention any of the above entails outright rejection of application (c) Application should be posted by Registered Post to reach Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Women Entry Section) ,West Block-III, R.K Puram New Delhi-110066 on or before 18th August 2006. Candidates are advised to send their application well in advance so as to reach before the last date for receipt of applications. Recruiting Directorate is not responsible for postal delays. Applications should not be sent by Private Courier Agencies as no provision for receipt of such applications is made. Candidates are informed that in case of dispute. If any, the same will be subject to Delhi Jurisdiction. (d) Applications received after the last date will neither be opened nor be entertained in any case.(e) The applicants are requested to prepared application form for themselves as per format given below and prescribed colour given in Para 1 (Table) last column. (f) Applications submitted on newspaper cutting or its photocopy will not be entertained. Two self addressed Post Card should be sent along with the application. Applications submitted on newspapers cutting or its photocopy will not be entertained.

a) Candidates are allowed to send only one application for the above. (b) Candidates will neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor will She be allowed to live with parents/Guardians. Candidates must not marry until they complete the full training at the Officers Training Academy. A Candidate, who marries subsequent to the date of her application though successful at the Service Selection Board Interview or medical examination, will not be inducted for training. A candidate if she marries, while under training, shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on her by the government. It is also applicable to issueless widow/issueless divorcee/widows of defence Personnel. (c) Any change in your postal address as given in para 15 (c). (d) Candidates not in receipt of call up letters from any of the selection centre for SSB interview should presume that either their applications have been received after due date or have been found ineligible or deficiencies in the application . No Correspondence in this regard will be entertained. (e) No compensation will be paid in respect to any injury sustained during selection tests. (f) All original certificate along with two unattested copies will be carried by the candidate for SSB interview . Originals will be returned after verification at the Service Selection Board itself.

The following is the list of enclosures to be attached (Photocopies only) with the application in the order given below. These documents should be neatly tagged. Original Certificate should not be attached with the application form. Army Headquarters will not take responsibility for loss of original certificates, if attached with the application. Photo should be pasted and not stapled .

Attestation made on the backside of the photo will not be entertain.
ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATES:

(a) Matriculation Certificates issued by the Board concerned (CBSE/State Boards/ICSCE) in which date of birth is reflected (Admit Card/ Mark sheet/ Transfer/ Leaving Certificate etc. are not acceptable) (b) Either the Original Degree certificate for BE/B.Tech or independent mark sheet of all years/semesters/parts of Engineering Degree for those candidates who have already passed (c) For those who are in final year/semester /part application form stating that the candidate is in final year and final result will be declared before 16th Feb 2007 (d) An affidavit stating that you are issueless (in case of widows/divorces widows of Defence Personnel). (e) Legal documents of the divorcee and an affidavit that the matter is not under consideration in next higher court. (f) Attach self address envelope 25x15 cms duly pasting Rs. 5 value postal stamp on it along with the application.

Note: (a) Application in respect of candidate who fails to submit any of the above mentioned certificate will be rejected summarily. (b) The application as forwarded in response to the above advertisement is valid for WSES (O) 30 Course only and will not be considered for any other course whatsoever.

Change of Interview Dates : Request for changes of SSB interview dates will not be accepted. However under most unavoidable circumstances, such in change may be considered based on the circumstances of the case. This will be an exception rather than the rule. Requests for such change duly supported by a certificate from Government Gazetted Officer should be forwarded to Selection Centre from where the call-up letter for SSB interview has been received and Not to Additional Director General of Recruiting.
