Application Name: Mobile TV.

Description:
The Product Mobile TV is actually a television in mobile. The main feature of the application is to telecast all the channels in mobile through a GPRS connection, which is independent from the service provider.
The URL’s of the channels are accessed through an XML file which is parsed in mobile and the lists of channels is provided in the mobile which can be accessed by the users. And when the user clicks on the channel then a player (real player) will be opened automatically and the selected channel is streamed to the mobile through Streaming Server.
While the channels are played in mobile then even advertisements (Text and Images) are scrolled at the bottom-line of the player and the forms.
Responsibilities:
- Displaying of the advertisements (text & images) at the bottom-line of the application (Forms).

Application Name: Bridge – The Connector.
Domain: Mobile domain (GPRS).

Description:
Employees will register their details through online registration form that is designed J2ME. This registered information will be transferred to the Application Server using http protocol. The APPLICATION SERVER i.e. Apache Tomcat 5.0 redirects the data to the Database and stores the data.
Employees are categorized into different levels and basing on the designation of the employees different pages are shown to their account. And different designations will have different privileges by which they can post the information to the related employees.
Architecture model is 3-tier architecture. Finally the employees are provided with Information on their mobile according to their designations and they can also change their profiles and send the information to different levels of designations.

Application Name: Profile Based Advertisements.
Organization: Internship was a part of Renaissance Incubation Program
IDEALABS.
Domain: Mobile domain (GPRS).
Languages Used: Java, J2ME, Servlets, JSP, JDBC.
Team Size: 3.
Description:
End User will register his Details through online registration form that is designed using JSP for Web based Portal and J2ME for Mobile Application. This user registered information will be transferred to the Application Server using http protocol. The APPLICATION SERVER i.e. Apache Tomcat 5.0 redirects the advertisements placed by the merchants to the user from the Database of different service providers according to schedules in admin.
The user will be getting the advertisements (basic content) in the form of messages (Short Message Service). And, with every SMS sent to the user an URL will be attached to the SMS which will activate the Application automatically when the user wants to get detailed information of that particular SMS.
The descriptive content of advertisements is retrieved to the application server from database through http protocol. And retrieved advertisements/information is transferred to the user’s mobile through http protocol. User can finally view the advertisements/information on his mobile with GPRS enabled.
Architecture model is 3-tier architecture. Finally the end user is provided with Advertisements/Information on his mobile according to the time and schedules selected and he can also change his profile, leave feedback and cancel his subscription whenever he desires.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in developing Search module of mobile part using J2ME and their related Servlets and Complete WebPages using Jsp’s and their related Servlets.
- Involved in Creating Database tables.
