We also provide engineering support for existing products & systems.

Job Description:
We are having immediate requirements for Mtech (Power System Engineering,Electrical,Electronics) Fresher for SCADA (Power Systems) Openings.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Job Title : Scada/PS

Level : SE

Exp : 1.5yrs - 4 yrs

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Only Fresh (ME / MTech in Power Systems engineering, Electrical, Electronics) are invited.
- Excellent programming skills in C /C++ on UNIX (SOLARIS, AIX, HP or Linux).

- 1.5 - 4 years of experience in software development, bug fixing and implementation.

- Very good working level Exp. and knowledge in relational databases like Oracle & Sybase.

- Must have worked on designing databases, PL/SQL , Forms and Reports.


Responsibilities:

- Work on GE's Energy Management System Product Sustaining activities like Testing, Fixing and enhancement of the product.

- Trouble shoot problems and provide solutions for the Energy Management System (EMS) & Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA).

- Implement engineering solutions for unique customer requirements.

- Scope of activities include design, develop, customize, test, maintain, field integrate SCADA / EMS software.

- Responsible for completing the assigned activities Assist customers with troubleshooting problems related to the operation of mission critical, real-time systems.

- Travel to the customer site (either domestic or international for about 20 of the time) whenever needed. Additional requirements (desirable):

- Knowledge in serialline communication protocols like DNP, IEC and also in ICCP (TASE.2), MMS and TCP/IP.

- Knowledge in programming environments like X-Motif & Java.

- Exposure to configuration management tools like Clear Case & Clear Quest.
