Hi All,

I am Suresh, working in Manual testing for the past two years. Now I am willing to learn Quick Test Professional Automation tool (through self learning, after the office hours).

Kindly clarify my queries:
1. How to start with self preparation?
2. Any website available with references for self learning?

Your replies will definitely be useful for all those who are willing learn QTP…

Note: I know basics in VB scripting.

Hi All,

Finally, i myself came up with an answer for the above questions.

Read out the QTP 9.2 Tutorial and go through each and every menu option. This will give you an idea about what can be achieved with QTP. Next, practice the sample scripts available in web. Finally, ask for expert’s advice on your queries after all these steps.

Its good that you are having the habit of learning new tools, my suggestion is install the qtp trail version and go through the help file once you will get the detail information about the qtp,
