    Re: testing tool beginners

In most of the companies they will use manual testing....if the project recommends then they will go for automation.
manual testing - done by human
automation testing - done by human by using tools
performance testing - part of manual testing
if u r interested in testing side learn both the manual and automation testing.

    Hello samyukta,

All are equal we can t say which one is the best among them. As a testing engineer has to perform manual testing as well as automation testing why because some applications we can t test manually, so we go for automate that application through automation testing tool. automation is continuation for manual testing this is not replacement for the manual testing.

    Thanks
    sudheer

    Hi friends,

Today many companies uses only manual testing, but some mnc's use automation testing, where you have to load and performance testing. So they used some tools for it like win runner, QTP etc.

    Hi Samyukhta,

Never find best ones every one is the best part so that is the reason those were still in market.
so find the ones with good career not for the best.
Manual, Performance, Automation testing has their own market , go with your friends who were working already in testing field, and as you said you were an MCA Passout you must have the knowledge of Testing at the worst case.
SO go ahead with your capability into the career that suits you best and has good and long life for you...

    Thanks,
    Admin
    Cheers,
    Techie.
