creativity is every where important in problem solving now a days. creativity means to solve a problem with a great idea and it shall work not only for that one and to usable to other applications and to be more innovative.

for example if a new trouser is damaged it can be cover with embroidering on it or making some zips or pockets there this is also some creativity and it will some fashionable like in this way we have to think in a creative manner in the problem solving

yes creativity is important in problem solving becoz sometimes conventional methods are not that convinient to apply.whn you are left with no option then you try to make use of your creativity.like in many stages of project one needs to be innovative. even when you are making presentations its your creativity that comes into play.even in day to day life we need to chip in with some innovative idea like my friend pramodkumar.kak stated its a beautiful example. its the creativity which has given alot of inventions and its only becoz of creativity we give shapes to different thing becoz we think in advace about the thing.finally
CREATIVITY + CONVENTIONAL METHODS + KNOWLEDGE is the thing which leads to unmatched success.
