Todays Topic :

Indian villages - our strength or our weakness?

The following points could be discussed under this topic:

A typical Indian villages and its myriad problems. Lack of basic amenities
and infrastructure. their contribution to the economy both in goods and services
vis-a-vis their urban counterparts. they could be an even bigger drivers of our
economy if they are made self reliant by improving infrastructure and reducing
the general disparities between cities and villages ...etc...etc

villagers..so as this view its our strength but the village need to be
improved well by implementing rural dispensary, urban educations, rights
of peoples..so every citizens is becum a strengthfull to india..so
every village is a backbone of city and every city is backbone of india.

indian villages surely forms a integral part of indias new sucess in global arena. the main contribution that they provide is the stability of economy which is basically lacking in the cities. but their contribution byfar is very less considering the fact of what they are actually capable of. improving infrastructure may be just one of the solutions to this problem.but the root cause lies in the thinking level of the people. an educated person thinks every aspect of life in a different way than compared to a illetrate. by building a knowledge based economy our country is surely going to suceed in bringing fdi s and good economic growth in the next 50 years.

thank u

hi

It's an interesting topic to be debated. My opinion is villages play a vital role in our nation's development. They are a boon to us.Ours is an agricultural land.More than 70% of our population are from villages and their occupation is mainly agriculture. The govt has toset upsmall scale industries whichwill inturnhelp the farmers , weavers and many other sectors. The food which we eat are produced by them.we need to be grateful to them. But many farmers today are below poverty line.We need to educate them, their children must be sent to schools. The govenment has to see that every village has aschool upto 10 th standard wherechildren below poverty linemust be given free education, thenone day our India will turn into a new leaf.
