Re: Group Discussion Contest-149
As women gain traction as business owners and executives, gender differences are increasingly playing out in the way they run their shows. If you think that isn't having an effect on the rules of the business road, think again.
Nearly 11 million privately held companies are now majority-owned (50% stake or greater) by women, according to the Center for Women Business Research, based in Washington, D.C. That accounts for nearly half (47.7%) of all private companies in the United States. In addition, women-owned companies now generate $2.5 trillion in annual sales and employ 19 million people nationwide. Typically, women operate and manage those businesses in some significantly different ways than men do. Recent studies point out that while both male and female styles of leadership can be effective, "female" frequently has the edge. |

Re: Group Discussion Contest-149
Well to say the least i think it depends. Its not that women are good managers but that women are now being recognised more and respected for hard work and dedication.I totally believe that whether man or woman if they have the will and perseverance they will eventually succeed in their ambitions.Woman are known to have more of emotional quotient and ability to handle risky situations with ease.Well the women of today are surging ahead in all fields and its not long to see the face of more corporates with women managers and enterpreneurs!!!

Do women make good managers?
Looking at da present situation,nw-a-days Womens are prefered more irrespective of the fields viz Modelling or industrious....bcoz of the looks, their ability n above all the way of convincing da client.
As da world is changing so the preferences too r which doesnt mean dat Men cnt but surely womens r prefered over men.Its da way ppl r lookin dats it, if Men r given da responsibility they r surely up to it. |

Re: Group Discussion Contest-149
well, women are certainly better managers because they have more in depth sense something like 6th sense and above they manage the house hold problems at the same time, and have better organising skills than men, even the catch up and the understanding power, they are more deterministic and hard working, above all they have the inner spirit to achieve things, and as they are beautiful people would love to see them rule, so being a woman i agree that women are better managers than men.
