Ganguly Vs Chappel

Ganguly was the person who pressurised the Indian board to bring
Chapell rather than Tom Moody.Between the two Ian & Greg, Ian is more popular in Australia than Greg.Greg is said to be somewhat arrogant as well.The controversy which saw the downfall of the most
succesfull Indian captain was quite unexpected and the manner it was done was quite indecent as well.Being the most successful captain Ganguly was not only dictating his fellow members
but also made a place for himself amongst the top rated players in the World.Only a single word can be said about the exclusion and all the drama that has taken place is UNFORTUNATE.
The recent interview of Greg to the English daily was very much
unnecessary and it really speaks for Greg to be a person made up of indecency and unculturedness.

Once Greg is the coach, the point who bought him does'nt hold any value w.r.t Indian cricket. One point we need to clear at the outset is cricket should be treated as a game and personal feelings should be kept at bay. That shows a professionalism of the Game. Coming to the point, Ganguly is one of the best players in the world and even statistics have proved it. The no. of runs he scored and the no. of matches he won as a captain is amazing. But in this cut-throat competition one can't expect to sit in his laurels. One has to be at his best to beat the competition from the younsters. Nowadays we find fresh talent coming in and performing at international arena matching the standards, for example, Kaif's fielding, Dhoni's smashing attacks, Yuvraj's Stand, and many new bowlers are also fighting hard each match to ensure their position in next matches. In this scenario, we can't expect one to give a role to Saurav or for that matter any player who has lot of experience but unable to perform. Greg's role in Indian team is bearing fruits clearly from the attitude of the players on the field and the results of one-day series in Pakistan. The media's attention to details of BCCI meetings and other interviews not concerning the game but targeting at personal views is nothing but for NEWS and their headlines and more circulation. We can be away from this unnecessary diversions and look at the game with a new perspective of a GAME. Then, it should not be Ganguly Vs Greg Chappel, it might be Ex-Captain Vs Coach leaving the personal attributes aside.

According to me Ganguly was a very successful captain.He scored many runs for the country and he was a great player in getting sixers and fours.It is very unfortunate to see the way by which Ganuguly is treated by chappel.Chappel is from another country and he is spoiling the team and creating much problems.We all cant forget the removal of ganguly fromt he team.Chappel is giving unnecessary views to media.If hereally thinks that Ganguly is unfit and if he is a very good coach,he should be able to bring up Ganguly and he should make Ganguly fit.Nobody can be a successful captain if he is unfit.I think Ganguly and Chappel r in the field of cricket and not in politics.So chappel need not make a simple thing as a big issue.Iaccept thatall the new persons coming and playing very well.But there should be some experienced persons in the teamor atleast there should be some decent send-off for Ganguly.I am not telling bcoz he is ganguly,i want the decent send-off for such a position.We can take an example.Take some great software companies.Those companies r recruiting many talented persons frequently.Those young persons works efficiently.Fot their efficiency we cant send all the experienced persons out of the company bcoz they know abt the company much than the new persons.Since chappel is also in a good position,he should think that how he will feel if he is given such a very good send-off.


So my opinion is cricket should be played for the country and there should not be politics in the cricket.

well , the topic on Ganguly Vs Chappel was debatable........


I think the key mistake is with Ganguly by not scoring well in recent days......i think chappel has done his job in excluding Ganguly who was arrogant in nature ........as he is successful captain,he should keep his captancy place safely by playing well in the matches.....but past 2 years his game is not at all satisfactory.......so chapell has done his job by giving his name to BCCI for his indisciplane behavior in the team and his inefficiency in the game ......chapell is in good motto that he should bring up talented players by giving them chances in the recent games and struggling for strongest indian team to beat the coming world cup,so In this way he excluded some of the inefficient players and bringing up fresh talented guys from india for palying the game.....but his way of commenting in the interview to a Englis news organisation of England is not satisfactory at which he spoke about Ganguly persaonal matters.....anyway ,there are some politics going on in BCCI and these should restricted to get a Strongest Indian team


I conclude that Chappell ,to some extent is correct in his way for getting a strongest indian team....

Well yes ganguly has his place in the records but as a team player he is worthless.Just look at his attitude and dedication towards the game,he doesn't seem like the one who used to be!There is a time for everybody.I think ganguly should take this in his stride and not read much into others responses and reactions reagarding him,instead he should declare his retirement!If you look at him it doesn't seem the beaming confidence and commitment he used to have for the team.He definitely isn't india team stuff after all what has happened be it the coach or some other person.Lets not forget that BCCI is the richest cricketing body in the world and the ones in the cricket team are regarded as celebrities.So, i do believe that everyone wants his share in the sun!

Ganguly is a good captan in one period and proved his capitancy. but now a days, he didn't played well. now a days all r saying that unemployment in india is more. if the senior people are so long working in concern, where will be the job avail in people those who r unemployed. like wise i tell some thing to u. so please don't make this issue as big. leave it, that solve easily and don't create a violence.
Greg's mind is setted like australien rules, if u noted in australian team, if u played very well in his team and performed good for certain period, but they don't considered this thing, they need the team will be a good. even he done a good capitancy and all rounder and all. like wise Greg done a good job.

i love cricket very much.
i think gonguly is a very good captain but nt a very good player ,i dont thing in this highly competitive cricketing world any player who having some techinical problem ,which apositoin can easly pick should remain in team.ya i am agree that he serve for india for quite a long time but if u cant servive for team u hav to leave that team only can leade the world ,like astraylia.he got a very good captain like mark whag but,
like that and cheppal is a professional coach who having a capibility to lead the team from front .done the write thing to informe BCCI about the gonguly,but i dont agree the thing cone in publickely .its realy not good for players as well as indian cricketr future.

as conclusion i just wana say that if wana on top you have secrifise your emtions as well as your record.
