hi friends,


I amnarain(apr 05 batch anna univ) from chennaiand i have got some 4 papers arrears which i will complete only by apr06 and i tried for airtel customer care where they asked my certificates for verification and so i didn't get the job.


i am very much depressed and i didn't know what to do.


While i attended sutherland and slashsupport voice based call centers,eventhough i have good communication skills i lacked technical expertise regaarding hardware . For ex: they asked how will u configure a computer? i wasn't able to ans. so i also didn't get that job.

What i have planned now, is to work in a call center or bpo andstudy well for the coming april 2006 exams and as well as work ina call center or bpo, prepare for CAT exams(IN T.I.M.E COURSE FEE RS.16,000)which will be conducted on nov06 and after the CAT exams were over i would have cleared my arrears and got my certificates and then i am contemplating to join a course(JAVA,J2EE) in mapples in chennai where the placement record is excellent where course fee comes around 35,000 for 3 months and they also want a photocopy of our certificates to send it to their MNC clients(now i have no certificates so i couldn't join this batch which starts on mar 4th week)After the course is over by mar07, i am sure quite sure to be placed in any of the reputed MNC's & so this is my plan.


Friends, does my plan is right and will it go along smoothly since i invest so much on cat and mapples courses( i can manage since i get substantial amout as salary from call centers once i get a job there). please help me in this regards.


Friends if u have any reference in sutherland or any call center please give me.

... BUT DONT WASTE MUCH TIME ON THIS REASEARCH



3 ONCE UR EXAMS ARE OVER TRY SERIOUSLY TO THOSE COMPANIES

A) JOIN CAT and PREPARE SERIOUSLY FOR 2007 CAT exam by managing ur SCHEDULE u need to work alot i guess

B) IF U DINT GET PLACED IN CALL CENTER JOIN MAPPLES
AND DO THE COURSE AS SOON AS U COMPLETE UR ARREARS , DONT WASTE TIME
PUT A DEAD LINE for each

C) ENSURE THAT U WONT SIT IDLE , DO SOME THING OR OTHER



SEE DECIDE FIRST EITHER BPO/IT INDUSTRY AND STICK TO IT COMPLETELY COME WHAT MAY , RATHER THAN JOINING IN BPO

I SUGGEST U TO JOIN MAPPLES IN MAY MONTH so that by september, october u get ur placement results , THEN TRY 4 CAT

Thanks for ur good advice. But the point is the next batch for mapples starts only by december06 and also i am afraid that the exams will be conducted only by june06 due to general assembly elections in tamilnadu. So i don't know whether i will be able to join by may( see i want to produce my photocopy of my certificates to them).


My objective is to join in a MNC Company in IT industry and then pursue higher studies( MBA or IELTS)there sponsored by that company.


But now, since i don't complete my arrears I won't be able to enter in IT industry and so i decided to join in an callcenter job as an interim arrangement and then prepare for cat exams(nov06).


You told me to attend cat exams by next year . can i know in which month it will be conducted.
