Good resumes

My friend has been working in the HR department of a company wherein he often comes across the resumes of many potential employees. He was telling me that, even though those people were highly qualified and had all the talents for the specific jobs, their resumes did not speak much about them. A large percentage of the resumes seemed to be very obscure and too long! So he was telling me that people need not take a lot of efforts to write down a perfect resume and they can actually hand over this task to experts in the field. Say for example, Clickjobs resume services have a lot of customised and tailor made resume writing services. So one can approach such experts who can make the resume look presentable and which in turn can add a lot of mileage to one's chances of getting a job. I thought it was something worthwhile to share with you guys.

The Best way to improve our Resume writing skills is to go through as many resumes as possible and watch every minute things in that.We come accross so many resumes of our friends, in portals.. whether we are in HR or not, we can glance at find out the pros and cons in that resumes! Also we can discuss with our friends reg this!

So, in this way slowly we can hone our own resume writing skills, even without writing resumes!

I have seen many bad resume especially among fresh graduates. If there is a walkin interview you will find these bunch of freshers coming in with similar looking resumes and they will all have the same objective.

I guess thatz the reason why companies like naukri, monster, clickjobs offer services to write resumes for a fee. The present generation's language is so bad that they cannot write a professional document without somebody's help.
