There are infinite websites that shoulder the responsibility of teaching English as a part of their job. Besides, the learners are also very much interested in learning through websites. Hence, I would like to share some of the Web IDsthat teach English with the members of this forum.

1. Merriam-Webster Online(This is an on line dictionary that could help you to get the individual and contextual meaning of the words along with their parts of speech. This could be very useful for Research scholars )

2. BBC - homepage - Home of the BBC on the Internet (Teaches many foreign languages like English, French, Spanish, German etc.)

3. Teachit's English teaching resources (Free Library Resources available for teachers of English)

4. Longman English Language Teaching (ELT) (Lot of free resources available for teachers and learners)

5. Vocaboly - Vocabulary Builder Software for SAT, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and General Vocabulary (Helps in building the word power for TOEFL, GRE, SAT, GMAT exams)

Hope these websites would be very useful to You. Join you again with another five IDs in the next discussion.
