My struggle to learn English

Dear Friends,
I'm so glad that many of you have found my post (My struggle to learn English) inspiring enough to apply it in your effort to improve English. Since you are asking for more tips regarding English... I would like to suggest all of you of the following tip which will be very powerful to speak english instantaneously without any conscious effort.

The tip is .... Try to think in English.(Many of us might be using mother tongue for inner feelings/thinking). You replace those inner feelings/thinking(about a subject or object) with English. It becomes very easy for you when you wanna speak English without the consciousness of shifting from your language to English.

Do this activity until you feel that U are able to speak english without any supreme effort.After some time it will become a habit to think in English.

Hi Jithendra...What you have said is absolutely true..I know a proverb in Tamil which says, If you want to learn an Art then pratice it, If you want to learn a Language then speak it!

And in this process many things might be disouraging to us.. Like pple might tease us!

We shud have one thing in our mind....Oten we must imagine ourselves as having a command over the language, given public speeches, people appreciating us..How good it ll be getting others praising.. Only this thought will make us break all other Firewalls!
