Feat - notable deed Feet - Plural of foot, measurement e:g - It was a brilliant feet of Engineering e:g - They walked round the house in bare feet. 2. Loose - slack, not fixed Lose - deprived of, failto retain or use e:g - The door handle is loose. e:g - She was afraid she would lose her pen. 3. oar - Wooden lever with broad blade worked by the hands to propel boat. ore - Mineral which yields metal e:g - She dipped the oars into the water. e:g - Iron ore is found here. 4. vary - Change, Differsify, Differ ... Wary - Watchful, Cautious, Alert ... e:g - Opinions vary widely on this point. e:g - She is wary of weird men. 5. Rower - rowing a boat Rover - wanderer e:g - He is an excellent rower. e:g - She's always been something of a rover. |
