Dear All,
This is my second posting on this site and i really hope i wud get some reply to my query this time. I have been a member of this site for quite a few time now. May be three months or so.

I have done M.Sc in electronics in 2004 and I have some 2+ years of experience on embedded systems and hardware design. But I am unable to find any jobs matching my profile mainly b'coz in embedded systems field I have only worked on very basic level i.e., assembly, 8051, etc. Though ialso ahve some knowledge of other processor architecture like pic series but can hardly show any experience in them. Also since for the last year and a half I have working on hardware and a little RF design, I am finding myself competent enough to land jobs in Embedded field as there they prefer some work on RTOS, device drivers and all. My situation is such that even after 2+ years of experience my cv does not attract any recruiters.

I have thought about doing some course on embedded systems design. But I ahve heard there also companies recruit by freshness and I passed out in 2004.

Kindly pls. give me some suggestions as to wat I shud do.

Hi,

if u know C, C++, LinuX then there are many companies which need RTOS and DEVICE DRIVERS who pay a lot. now everyone is stressing on RTOS and Device drivers

If u r not familiar den try 2 learn and put it in u r resume , u vil get lot of calls.

Thank u very much. I'll do that for sure.

But other than that wud courses on embedded systems help in providing some practical training and boost my resume. Bcoz I feel the companies prefer ppl with some prior experience or practical koowledge of RTOS to save up on training them. Even if I learn them I won't be able t show any practical exp. as I am not in a related field.
