hi guys, I am srividya, recently joined this site... hi to all ... I wanna become a QA Tester, I have some knowledge about manual testing. I should start with learning tools like test director, QTP, Winrunner etc.,
By feb i should apply for H1 visa, By that i should be perfect in all the asspects of testing... Are there any PPTs that can show how to start with each tool with step by step screens... plzz help me in reaching my goal....

Hi Spoorthi

I have seen some of your posts and replies.... I like your way of responding... Could you plzz help me too in starting with testing... I have done my B.Tech, passed out in 2004. I am in US right now, Due to some reasons i have not worked in the software field, so, i don't have realtime experience.. Now i want to start working, could you plzz help me in learning Testing from the scratch... I have a bit idea about testing GUI s ... and writing test cases... Awaiting your reply...
Hope you help me in learning testing tools... like Test diector, Winrunner, QTP etc.,

I am new to this site, Where can i fine testing tools section... in this site.

As our friends suggested, first take time to surf through the QA forum (above link) and download the material and go through it. We have many people in this site working in QA domain. So they will try to help you out if you get any problems. Don't worry if the doubt is small or big or stupid. Just post it. But don't forget to search our forum before posing a question. This will save you lot of time .

Also I will encourage you to go through other QA forums and sites which have similar discussions.

as kireeti said first learn the course......dont be in hurry to start career......after learning the course start your career then it will be better......

mean while if u come across any doubts etc just post it in testing tools section there r so many ppl who'll help in all aspects.....and remember just check all posts in testing tools section......

click start run type "dxdiag" on the sound tab turn the acceleration down or off might help ?

its after a long time that i am back... I started learning with manual testing...... I am not sure whether I have complted that to swith to a tool..... Please let me know what all the topics i have to be good at, in order to complete studying manual testing.......
