Servlet's Service( ) method.

Q.) Why should not we make the service() method synchronized?

Re: Servlet's Service( ) method.

My understanding is, if we synchronize the service method, then providing services to multiple requrests at a time will not be possible. It will increase response time unncessarily.

If I am wrong, any one can correct me.

Thanks,
Krishna

Re: Servlet's Service( ) method.

see, if you do so then you can't response more than one request at a time and it will be useless because at same time manu users can access the same page eg. Yahoomail etc...
