SCJP : Is it worth it??

I see many experienced people here so taught that i will be able to get some very good suggestions from people who are already working in the development field.

QUESTIONS :

1. Is the SCJP certification considered to be impressive by most companies?

2. Can it make the difference between being hired or not?

Anyway, doing certification definitely counts in being hired in companies. Writing SCJP is not a joke, u have to work hard and if you are successful and got a percent means u r definitely an unsung hero/heroine.

What ever the things if u have a strong foundation companies consider u for a better position even if u r a fresher.Anyway they'll interview u but it adds up for your interview also.

So if u r a fresher, dont waste time searching for jobs,first get a strong foundation and then try u'll definitely succeed

Planning to take up my certification by the end of this Month or in the first week of next month.
