How to call another java program?

lets see this...
i have two console windows..
runnig two java prog one in each..
how can i call the java prog runnig in another console window... it shoud print in another window..

u can do that with the concept of distributed technologylike RMI,CORBA etc..........

Can anybody tell me why we should minimise the use of member variables in a class in Java.

its urgent. Please help.

who said that we need to minimise the class variables..
i am member classes have almost 80 member variables..
but one thing u have to do .. make them private or protected
