Sql stands for structured query languagewhich contains only qureys regarding how to create table , how to insert values in to table, deletion, update etc. To maintain the data base different languages like DML(data manuplation language)DDL( data definition language)TCl( transaction control language) are used.

Pl/Sql stands for Programming language/Sql whichis used for implementing the business logic by using the data base created by the Sql .
