Fedora core 5 which was supposed to be released on 15th march will now be released on 20th, and will be available for free download at

Fedora Core is a free linux operating system. It is an open source project sponsered by redhat and is developed by the open source community that is spread across the world, or in other words it is a project developed by a large group of people who intend to provide the very best in free software.
It is no less sophisticated than any commercial OS like widows. It is astonishing to see the high quality and standard of the OS, despite it being free. To add on that .. Fedora is the free version of ReHatlinux for which u dont need to pay money.

Redhat 9 was the last free version of RedHat Linux after which the free open source version was renamed as Fedora.

RedHat then Introduced RHEL(Red hat enterprise linux version) which is cheaper than windows and doesnt come free.
