Roaming profile not working

Hi everybody

I have a lan with 20 systems. All are windows xp professional systems (workgroup model). i would like to set a system (Windows xp) profile as a roaming profile. i gave profile path as "\\systemname\sharefoldername\username" but after login into the profile it showing roaming profile but it was storing in defalut location (C:\documents and settings\username) only. I tried in windows 2003 Operating system. that was working file. But windows xp profissional system give trouble. Is it possiable in windows xp professional or not? please guide me
