u don't need the name of book; just say u need the cisco ccna book. further, u can browse the bookseller's shop (

) to find the various books by cisco. btw if u have no prior knowledge abt networking, then cisco books may not be the right choice to begin with. anyway, good luck

Most of the companies hire mostly men....i've seen very few women as Network Engineers!!is it true.please tell ur opinion.

That is not true always. Men may get a little priority over women as some times admins has to stay back in office at night and has to come to office on weekends when there is some emergency or some backup that need to be taken. But, that prioritization generally comes when the admin team size is small. Otherwise it is not at all a issue for company too.

More over, if you observe the general trend, the number of girls/women who select network courses is comparitively very less. That is also one of the reson why there are few lady admin in companies. Otherwise I don't think companies are giving more priority to men over women.

Not at all . one of my friends sister is working in a networking company in Hyd. She's got an MS degree in networking from some US university.And her salary package is also very descent that she earns around 4.5 lakh per annum. what more?
