Cache memory, in general is also a type of memory that is faster and reliable than the normal memory

Re: What is cache memory?

Cache Memory Which is Placed in Between the C.P.U and the RAM. The Applications Which Want to run Frequently then those are placed in Cachememory.Whenever The C.P.U want to run the applications it goes to the RAM Everytime. But In the Case of the "FREQUANTLY RUNNING APPLICATIONS" they placed in the Cachememory, Due to this the valuble time of the C.P.U is Decreased. This is the main purpose of the cachememory. But this king of memory is very cost effective.

Re: What is cache memory?

Cache menory is a small memory, normally in kb to 2MB in a desktop computer, located very near to the processor.Very near means accessing the data from this memory takes very less amount of time, when compared to accessing the data from the main memory. This saves most amount of CPU time. For example, the internet explorer window has some common fields that appear every time you maximize window(Title bar, menu bar, status bar etc..)this information can be cached, so that the CPU doesn't require to retreive the internet explorer view from the main memory, thus increasing the CPU performance.

Friend cache memory in short mean the temporary memory that stores the path of the application whatever you open first time in your machine when you whenever you start your PC due to this next time when you open the same application it gets opens faster as it pathway was stored in the cache memory but its memory is temporary as when you shut down your PC it gets cleared for the next session.Got it dear?
