hi it purely depends on you.if u r interested in programming, then you can go for java. but before taking up oracle DBA think about it. n always remember DBA is NO SORRY JOB

In DBA opportunities are less, as there are more programmers while few DBA's in a company, but still DBA has huge demand if you are very strong in it,.

i wonder if u guys could help me,make a viable decision.which would be better for me to do,ccna/ccnp,dba or mcse
?i really don't have any background training in any major computing field,apart from high school basic programming,and autocadd drawings.![]() and please what are the basics i'll require for starters,and recent upgrades i'ld require to be very good in these fields?i'm currently rounding up a degree in mech. eng'g at an african university.(it's more paper work than practical eng'g).i'ld really appreciate any useful tip.thanks |

oracle basics are pl/sql ,after that you can opt for what you feel is best, but whatever u choose u have to be expert in that.dont be bogged down by pressure ,o r anythinng, go and find out in institutes,ask students or professionals who have done the course as freshers or late starters. and jump to the course of your liking!!
