Re: TOEFL Test
Hello Satya,
What u do is write down 10 or 20 words and their synonyms on small pieces of paper, and keep them in ur pocket, when ever u r free, take one of those pieces, jus read the word ,keep it back in ur pocket and continue with the other pieces and at the End of Day, try not see the pieces but instead try to recollect the words what u read since morning . But u should make this a daily habit. Doing so , you can remember each and everything. Speaking, Daily practice on reading a passage after all the passages are over, try to write down a passage of ur own and try to speak infront of a mirror. Daily one time, gives u confidence on speaking as well as writing. Hope this could help you , I told u what i know, Any more thoughts guyz/gals let us know Thank You

Re: TOEFL Test
Thanks for the suggestion Mohan. I think ur idea will work out..but as words increase memorising them becomes difficult i believe...and also just knowing the meaning is not enough right..i should implement those words while i am speaking.
Speaking and writing...i think even grammar plays an imp. role. In the speaking and writing sections of TOEFL, what do they look for..i mean...the accent, pronounciation of words, the content of the essays, grammar etc... Do we have a writing section here...i mean something like in Toefl.. a topic is given and we have to write an essay. If yes , plz let me know Regards Satya |

Re: TOEFL Test
Hi Satya,
My Idea work out as well , even if the words increase also it will work, dont say difficult, be confident on yourselves and follow the idea which i gave u, and I dont think we have a separate section over here for writing passages etc etc. and one more thing, is Accent and pronunciation is as well important for this test as far as i know. Let me know your questions Thank You,

Re: TOEFL Test
Hi Mohan,
I will definetely follow ur idea. Do u know any good site for pronounciation of words? How do we know how to pronounce exactly a word that is very difficult, we havent come across ..i mean not the words which we use regularly but difficult and unknown words. Is it possible to start a new forum or in this section only for writing passages. A topic can be given and whoever interested can write a short passage on that topic. By doing so we can improve our writing skills and also someone who is perfect in grammar can even check for the grammatical mistakes in the passage. By this, we can even improve our grammar. Thanks once again Mohan for ur suggestion. Let me know about this idea. Regards Satya |
