"Run" command

can anybody tell me how to load "Run" command as it is not one of the choices on my "Start" button. i'm using windows xp home edition. thanks

Try this

Right click the start button

Choose properties
If you have start menu selected>choose customize
Go to the advanced tab
Choose the items you want showing on the start menu from the list ie seach and run options are there for you to tick

One more solution :

Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to display the Run dialog box. Next type gpedit.msc and click OK.

Once the group policy editor is displayed, click User Configuration>Administrative Templates>Start Menu and Taskbar. In the right hand pane you will see a list of options - two of them being 'remove the Run command and shutdown/logoff commands from the Start menu'

thanks, i did both your advice and still i can do the "run" command. pls help me. i think i am badly hit by the virus contacted from my YM
