why people prefer mba

hi friends,
i have completed my be in 2004 and still searching for a job. can i do mba and why people prefer mba whether to get higher salary or to move up quickly in the echelon of the company or for any other reasons please tell me.

Hi Sayeenarayan,

The answer is, BOTH. It helps to get job easily and to move high in the management ladder easily. Salary comes along with it.

But, this will mainly help if you go into management side. In general, MBA guys will not have more technical skills where compared to pure technical guys with BE or B.Tech. Thus MBA with B.Tech/BE is more prefered than MBA alone.
