Experience for CAT

I presently have 2.5 years of experience in the software industry. I am planning to write CAT this year. So by the time i join to any IIM(if i get thru :-) i will have 4 years experience)But some people told me that 4 years work EX is too much for Indian B-Schools and hence i shud go for a GMAT and a foreign school. Please advise me on this.

I think 4 years is really too much.Bcoz by the time u finish ur MBA here [ie,after 2yrs] you may reach the same position in ur company which u would gain through MBA.Yes i think u better write GMAT that may fetch u good results than this.

hey 4 yrs of experience is really great,if ur looking out for studying in indian b schools....coz most of the bschools in india prefer people with work experience...u can even try in bschools like Indian School of Business(hyd),Great lakes(chennai)..which only take students with work experience....so having 4 yrs of work exp is an advantage [img]smileys/smiley17.gif[/img]
