Hi
I want to know whether studying INFORMATION SECURITY in M.Tech(CSE) is of value or not.What kind of job oppurtunities can i expect from it apart from teaching profession.I m a 2006 Fresher.I also want to know whether I could prefer a job right now or study M.Tech(CSE).

It is ur will and wish to join in M.Tech r to go for a job, its always better to have highest qualification, we can get a job at any time...

Information Security is a wonderful field in computers, u need to devote urself to attain excellency in that field, though ther is not much of stress to that field, keep in view the way in which industry is growing now a days, Security is going to play a key role, so u can expect a good future in it.......

as wizkid said deff higher education keeps value.
for m.tech , frm which college u r dng? if u do in good colleges then only it adds value mainly for M.tech. so be very careful while selecting the college....its very important.

M-Tech has its value only when u choose a good college r else its equal 2 ur BTech ... b careful while choosing correct univ ....
the field which u said is very much good ....
if MTech is done from a good univ with this splisation then u can get in2 R&D depts in the areas of security ....
cmpnys like cisco , symantec etc etc prefers such cands ....
