Sir,

I would like to pursue a 3yr. degree program conducted by Manipal University through a franchise. The question which really haunts me is whether the course and franchise is recognized by UGC or not ?

While doing some checks I found that the university is listed in the UGC website, but was unable to find whether the study centre\franchise or the course (BIT 3yr) is recognized or not.

Recently i found a guideline published by UGC in papers
"The off-campus centre(s) and / or the study centre(s) shall be set up with
the prior approval of the UGC and that of the State Government(s) where the
centre(s) is/are proposed to be opened."
