Qualification

Executive Trainee:
(a) Mechanical - 9 Posts (UR-5, OBC-2, SC-1, ST-1)
(b) Electrical - 4 Posts
(UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1)

A Degree in EngineeringUniversity securing not less than 65% in aggregate in the case of Open and OBC candidates and 55% in the case of SC/ST candidates (Mechanical/ Electrical as the case may be) from a recognized

Scale of Pay: Consolidated stipend Rs. 12,500/- PM during the one year training
Age: Age shall not exceed 27 years for post at Sl. No.6.

Method of Selection:
The selection process will be held at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi. For Post No.6 selection will include a written test/group discussion/personal interview.

Application Fee:
Application Fee Rs. 100/- . should be send along with the application in the form of a crossed DD drawn in favour of Cochin Shipyard Limited on any Nationalised bank payable at Kochi. SC/ST/Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
General Conditions

1. The duration of training for Executive Trainees will be one year. On successful completion of training they will be appointed as Asst. Manager in E-1 Grade in the pay scale of Rs. 8600-250-14600

2. The name of post applied for to be clearly indicated on the envelope containing the filled in application.

3. Those fulfilling the prescribed qualification and requirements may please forward their applications in the prescribed form affixing recent passport size photograph, supported by attested copies of certificates to prove age, qualifications (with mark lists), caste etc. to the
Assistant General Manger (P E R L), Cochin shipyard Limited, Kochi - 15.

4.Last date for receipt of application is 18 December 2006. Applications received after the stipulated date will not be considered.
