Age : The upper age limit is 27 years as on 31/1/2009

Scale of Pay : Rs.10750-300-16750.

How to Apply:
1. General/OBC candidates are required to furnish a Demand Draft of the value of Rs. 250 payable to ‘The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd’ drawn on any Nationalised/Scheduled Bank payable at Mumbai. The candidate should write the full name as appearing in the Online form, full address, post applied for and registration number on the reverse of the Demand Draft. The Demand Draft is not refundable or returnable. Application fee in any other form is not acceptable. SC/ST/PWD candidates are not required to send in the Demand Draft
2. After submitting the application form, candidates are required to take a print out of the Acknowledgement Slip which will have the name of the candidate, stream, city of written examination and a unique registration number. The print out of the original Acknowledgement Slip along with Demand Draft (if applicable), mark-sheets (all pages particularly in the case of CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade), proof of date of birth and caste/ medical certificate (if applicable) will have to be sent to Post Box No. 8722, Andheri East Post Office, Mumbai – 400 069, by ORDINARY POST. Candidates have to keep a photocopy of their application form and the Acknowledgement Slip to be submitted at the time of the Final Selection process
