Qualification :
1. Geophysics: 1st Class M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech)/ M.Tech in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Marine Geophysics.
2. Geology: 1st Class M.Sc / M.Sc (Tech) / M.Tech in Geology / Applied Geology
3. Analytical Chemistry / Applied Geochemistry : 1st Class M.Sc in Chemistry / Geochemistry / Applied Geochemistry
4. Information Technology / Computer Science : 1st Class B.E / B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science or 1st Class M.Sc in Information Technology or Computer Science.
5. Electronics / Instrumentation : 1st Class B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Instrumentation. OR 1st Class M.Sc in Physics with specialization in electronics or instrumentation.

Age Limit : 25 years as on 02.02.2009 relaxable upto 5 years in the case of SC/ST/Physically handicapped, OBC and female candidates.

Stipend : Rs.11,500/per month (Consolidated)
