Staff Selection Commission Examination- 2009 : Junior Engineer : Bangalore : Last Date: 30.01.2009

Eligibility:BE/ B.Tech/ Diploma (ECE/ EEE/ Civil/ Mech)
Qualification : Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with following eligibility will also be considered

1. BE/ B.Tech in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
2. AMIE ( Section A & B) in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical from Institute of Engineers India
3. Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
4. BE Electrical (Electronics/ Power)
5. Diploma in Civil & Instructural Engineering
6. BE in Electronics & Power Engineering
7. BE/ B.Tech/ Diploma in Civil & Rural Engineering
8. B.Sc (Civil Engineering)

Age as on 30.01.2009 : 18-27 years (Candidate should not be born before 31.01.1982 or after 30.01.1991)Scale of Pay : Rs. 5000-8000/-

Fees : Rs. 100/- (SC/ ST/ Ex-serviceman - not applicable). Fees should be paid as Central Recruitment Fees Stamp. Fees stamp will be available on Departmental Post Offices. Affix the fees stamp in the application form and should be cancelled from the same post offices. Name of the post office & date should be clearly entered in the seal

Selection Procedure:Written test and personality test will be conducted. Written test includes two papers.
Paper I General Awareness, General Engineering (Civil & Structural), General Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical)
Paper II General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or General Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical)

How To Apply:
The application form should be fill in with a ball pen. Candidates should affix a recent passport size photo ( 5 X 7 cm) in the form. Candidates should also attach the following documents.

1. Self addressed, stamped (Rs. 6/-) postal card. The card should be superscribed as "APPLICATION FOR JUNIOR ENGINEERS (CIVIL & ELECTRICAL) EXAM 2009"
2. Self addressed envelope (12 X 25 cm) stamped Rs. 5/-
3. Attested copies of related certificates for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Service/ Handicapped
4. Attested copies of SSLC book for proving age & copies of certificates & Marklists prooving eligiblity
5. Those who are eligible for age concession - copy of related certificates
6. Certificate proving that he/she is applying with the Knowledge of Superior officer through a written document in case of Government OfficersOriginal certificate should be brought at the time of interview. All columns in the application form should be filled. The envelope should be superscripted as "APPLICATION FOR JUNIOR ENGINEERS (CIVIL & ELECTRICAL) EXAM 2009" in English capital letters.
