Solution: Break 'ASTOUNDER' is meaningfull words you will get AS, TO and UNDER (AS-TO-UNDER)

2. From the word 'BEHIND', how many independent words can be made with CE changing the order of the letters and using each letter only once?

(a) 1

(c) 3
(d) 4

Solution: Break 'BEHIND' is meaningfull words you will getBE andIN

3. From the word 'LAPAROSCOPY', how many independent meaningful words CiII be made without changing the order of the letters and using each letter 0:"'1once?

(a) 1
(b) 2[/b]
(c) 3
(d) 4
(e) More than 4

Soultion: Break 'LAPAROSCOPY'is meaningfull words you will getLAP and COPY. (LAPRO/APARO/AROS etc... do not make any sense)

4. Which letter in the word 'SELFRIGHTEOUSNESS' does not change its positi:J1.when the letters are reversed?

(a) E
(b) G
c) H
(d) T[/b]

Solution: Total letters in 'SELFRIGHTEOUSNESS' are 17 so the middle letter 'T' will not change its position on reversing.

5. If the first and second letters in the word 'DEPRESSION' were interchang also the third and the fourth letters, the fifth and the sixth letters and so :':.. which of the following .would be the seventh letter from the right?

(a) R
(b) 0
c) S
(d) I
e) None of these[/b]

Solution: In the word 'DEPRESSION' on replacing first letter with second word will become EDPRESSION. Keep doing this so the word at the last will be 'EDRPSEISNO'. Now count the 7th letter from right, its 'P' which is None of the answers given. Therefore answer is (e) None of these
