Practical and helpful SAP QM Stuff to assist those supporting the SAP Quality Management Modules. If you have any SAP Quality Management question, please feel free to raise it in the SAP QM Forum. The integration of the QM application component in the R/3 System allows quality management tasks to be combined with those in other applications (such as materials management, production, sales and distribution and SAP has developed and implemented three quality management systems certified according to ISO 9001:2000
These three quality management systems merge their common information (management review, document control, record control, audits, corrective and preventive action, and personnel development), thereby ensuring the consistent application of this information across SAP. Practical and helpful SAP PM Stuff to assist those supporting the SAP Plant Maintenance Modules. If you have any SAP Plant Maintenance question, please feel free to raise it in the SAP PM forum. What is SAP PM? The R/3 Plant Maintenance (PM) application component provides you with a comprehensive for all maintenance activities that are performed within a company. The openness of the R/3 enables you to use external systems that are integrated with the PM component, such as geographical information systems (GIS), (CAD) systems and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems The SAP Plant Maintenance comprises of the following activities such as inspection, to measures and establish the actual condition of a technical system, to measures and maintain the ideal condition of a technical system, repair to measures and restore the ideal condition of a technical system and other measures that need to be taken using the maintenance organization.
