Master data is a data which is not going to change frequently.Master data represents any business entity in an erp sysytem.Many times it is organizational entities such as company,plant,sales area,cost center of an account....other times it represents external entities such as customers and vendors....its also representsthings such as material.
Master data is an important concept of DW as it contributes the dimensions or dimension attributes of DW. |
