Re: Edinburgh Business School graduate with 6 yrs Exp

After going through urs Resume here are my suggestions
1) on the Top Objective section i suggest remove the letters to bold and keep the letters font normal
2) Unger each section of IT-SKILLS,PROFESSIONAL EXP,.. i suggest no need of right alignment
3) on the top u have mentioned urs mail-id: shalin is it shalin or shalini??....verify it
4) Avoid unnecessary spaces between letters in Resume
5) Finally ...Consider Relocation ...as sometimes relocation will give you better opp'ty(consider this atleast for some period of time)
Make those conrrections r upload urs resume agn....i will check it on monday...Gud Luck

Re: Edinburgh Business School graduate with 6 yrs Exp

hi rohit !

Good to know that you are interested to study in EBS. Its really a prestigious university in UK. Its worth spending so much because it has very good reputation in abroad than in India. People in US & UK, very much respect Scottish Unviversity and Heriot-Watt is one of the repute and its one of the oldest university in UK.

Yes,with two years of experience, its possible. I hope you know the eligibility criteria's for enrolment in foreign Universities. Heriot-Watt is no exception. But if you good work experience, ofcourse you get preference.

Degree will be awarded by Heriot-Watt University with the Logo of both EBS and HW.

Regarding job prospect in Uk, Its good provided you have work permit. without it its very difficult to get, to some extent, NIL. Uk law is very strigent for students, especially for foreign students. Once you are student you cannot work more than 14 hrs per week. If you overwork than its very difficult to get visa extension, if you require to stay back or you defer some of your paper. The visa which we get after the completion of degree, i.e. SCGS, in that also its very difficult to get job as its restricted to 1-2yrs.If you have good working exposure in India and apply for HSMP, will definately you will get very good job there in UK. The prospect is extremely good with an EBS degree there provided you have work permit.

I hope i clarified quite of your doubts.

Wish you all the luck if you are aheading to EBS for furthur studies.

Cheers,

shalini
